Adventure Tech

Mad Moose is a dynamic and rapidly growing adventure experience provider, dedicated to delivering unforgettable moments for our customers. We are seeking self-motivated and optimistic individuals to join our team as Adventure Techs who will play a key role in enhancing our customers’ experiences.

Pay: $18-$24 hourly based on experience and competitive commission structure
Start date of February 15th, this is a seasonal position that usually lasts until August 15th, although there is room for advancement and year-round positions depending on the individual.

  • Clean helmets and goggles
  • Submit daily end-of-shift reports
  • Previous experience in a customer facing role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
  • Knowledge of Fareharbor and Fleetio is a plus
  • Valid First Aid Certification

Adventure Guide

Mad Moose is a leading adventure tourism company in Southern Utah, specializing in off-road and outdoor experiences. We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Beginner Adventure Guides. We are dedicated to cultivating an amazing experience for every guest. As an Adventure Guide, you play a crucial role in creating lasting memories. We value individuals who go above and beyond to ensure our guests have an unforgettable adventure.

Pay: $18-$24 hourly plus tips

  • Sufficient in Homebase, Fleetio, Podium, Fareharbor 
  • Polaris Arrival App – waiver and check-in/out
  • OHV education certificate
  • First Aid Certification
  • Create issues in Fleetio
  • Machine preparation – customer and guide bike
  • Knowledge of 2, 3, and 4-hour tour routes at one location
  • Maintain rescue bags
  • Essential machine maintenance (belts and tires)
  • Understand lot layout
  • Knowledge and experience of basic machine rescue
  • Open and closing duties (gates, locks, alarms, codes)
  • Knowledge of all state park laws
  • CPR and First Aid certified
  • Valid CPR and First Aid certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety
  • Familiarity with Sand Hollow off-road area
  • Exceptional storytelling skills

Fleet Controller

Mad Moose is a dynamic and growing organization specializing in elevating off-road adventures. We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized individual to join our team as a Fleet Controller. This position plays a crucial role in managing the arrival, disposition, and maintenance of our fleet of machines from Polaris.

Pay: $18-$24 hourly
Start date of February 15th, this is a seasonal position that usually lasts until October 15th.
  • Receive and coordinate the arrival and disposition of machines from Polaris
  • Perform damage inspections and reports on all machines
  • Track and manage Fleetio issues, resolve and understand
  • Track and manage Fleetio service schedules
  • Bill and notify customers of damages through Fareharbor
  • Submit work orders to shop and Polaris
  • Quickbooks damage invoices
  • Damage report follow-up with customers
  • Follow up on submitted damage reports to Polaris
  • Oversee machine transfer requests
  • Inventory of Shopify and Fleetio at Sand Hollow and Quail
  • Assist with Machine Rescues
  • Previous experience in fleet management or a related field is preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience hauling machines via truck and trailer

  • Phone Sales & Customer Service
  • Tour guide scheduling and coordination
  • Schedule monthly tour guide meetings
  • Podium & online conversations
  • Phone sales weekly summary report – Podium, KPIs
  • Review the Adventure Assistant commission sheet and give feedback 
  • Outbound sales
  • Understand fleet, self-guided experiences, private tours, group tours
  • Understand Tour Guide preferences, strengths, weaknesses
  • Manage and understand the list of customer FAQs
  • Manage shared resources and transfer requests
  • Quickly and efficiently handle all customer phone calls
  • Forecast bookings and machines needed
  • Follow up with after-hours messages and phone calls
  • Performance reviews
  • Approve refunds and early damage hold release
  •  
  • Previous sales and customer service experience.
  • Optimistic attitude, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for adventure and the tourism industry.
